This tool assesses data readiness of coffee supply-chain files. It does not determine whether you are an operator, a downstream operator, or a trader. A specialty roaster who buys already-imported green coffee (same 0901 heading) is typically a trader, not an operator. The first-placing importer (release for free circulation) is the operator who still needs Art. 9 + Annex II DDS data.

Statuses

UI chips: Available, Needs review, Missing. Internally these map to data detected, requires verification, and missing data. We never output compliant, non-compliant, deforestation-free, legal, passed or failed. The only percentage is data completeness.

Application dates

Large and medium operators: 30 December 2026. Most micro and small coffee operators: 30 June 2027. Micro/small already covered by EUTR: 30 December 2026. Always verify against EUR-Lex and Commission notices.
